Once more, Villarreal is the club who have provided the most players to the Spanish national team. Today, Santi Cazorla, Gerard Moreno, Pau Torres and Raúl Albiol were all called up once more by Spain manager Robert Moreno for La Roja’s final two Euro 2020 qualifiers. Details here.
Those four aren’t the only men’s first team players who have been called up for their country. Karl Toko Ekambi — named LaLiga Player of the Month for October this week — and André-Frank Zambo Anguissa have both been named in the Cameroon squad for their Africa Cup of Nation qualifiers. More on that here.
But before the international break, all of the men’s first team’s focus is on Sunday’s game against RCD Mallorca. Kick off at Son Moix is at 12pm Spanish time. Javi Calleja’s been speaking to the press about what to expect from the game. Read what he had to say here.
