Villarreal have a big match in LaLiga this weekend, against Real Sociedad, a team with similar aspirations to the Yellows. Kick-off at the Estadio de la Cerámica is at 9pm CET on Saturday. Read Unai Emery’s pre-match thoughts here.

Villarreal B (Villarreal U23s) are also in action tomorrow (6pm CET). Their match against La Nucía will be on Villarreal TV Live. For details of how to watch that, click here. See manager Miguel Álvarez’s pre-match comments here. Check out the full weekend schedule here.

Andrei Ratiu has returned to Villarreal B, after his loan at ADO Den Haag was rescinded. The Romanian right-back could also have chances with the first team, as he is aged under 23. More here.

Speaking of Romanians, Villarreal Women’s Olivia Oprea has been called up by the Romania squad for a European Championship qualifier. More here.

Sergio Asenjo has gone back to school, virtually, as part of the new-look ‘A Star In Your School’ activity. More here.

We’ve also found off two kick-off times. Our Copa del Rey quarter-final will be against Levante next week, more here, while our LaLiga match against Real Betis also got a confirmed schedule — more on that here.
