Villarreal signed off 2019 in style with a 1–0 win over Getafe, thanks to Moi Gómez’s goal. Read the match report here. That’s now three wins in a row in all competitions, hopefully it can be four when 2020 kicks off against Real Sociedad on 5th January.
As always, there were a number of activities going on at the Fan Zone before the game. Groguet Father Christmas was present, there was a new ‘3v3 Groguet tournament’, the latest performance as part of Groc Talent took place and there was also the latest Endavant Provincia initiative too.
The club has also been carrying out a number of events in Puerto Rico this week ahead of the opening of a new academy there as part of the Villarreal Academy project. Read more here.
