PHOTO OF THE DAY: Villarreal and Mallorca players hold a minute’s silence in memory of those who lost their life due to COVID-19

Villarreal returned to the Estadio de la Cerámica 100 days after their last LaLiga match there. The stadium was full of photos of Yellows season-ticket holders, thanks to the club’s #UnitsMésQueMai (United Now More Than Ever) campaign. The result was positive too, with the Yellows getting their second win in a row, with Carlos Bacca’s first-half goal being enough to secure a 1–0 win. After the game, both manager Javi Calleja (here) and goalkeeper Sergio Asenjo (here) hailed the side’s defensive security.
