Once again, it’s another matchday. Villarreal are in action against Real Sociedad tonight. Kick-off at the Estadio de la Cerámica is at 7:30pm CEST. If the Yellows win, a place in next year’s Europa League is guaranteed. Read manager Javi Calleja’s pre-match verdict here.

Raúl Albiol is likely to start for Villarreal in defence. The centre-back has been ever present since LaLiga’s return and has been a rock at the back. Read more about his good form here.

After Saturday’s training session, three men’s first-team players celebrated reaching 100-game milestones for Villarreal this season. Manu Trigueros passed the 300-game mark, Sergio Asenjo passed the 200-game mark and Carlos Bacca passed the 100-game mark. Read more on that here.
