Villarreal had their biggest win of the season on Friday, beating RC Celta 0–4, thanks to an impressive first half at Balaídos, with goals from Gerard Moreno, Moi Gómez, Dani Parejo and Fer Niño. Read the match report here and watch the highlights here. Read Unai Emery’s post-match verdict here.

That match also saw Sergio Asenjo become the goalkeeper with most appearances in Villarreal history. Read about that feat here.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, and bad weather in the region, not many Yellows teams were in action this weekend. Villarreal U23s (Villarreal B) were unlucky in their 2–0 defeat to league leaders UD Ibiza. Read the match report here. See all the results of games played here.

We have had great news, with an initiative backed by the club within the Endavant Solidaritat programme successfully reaching its target. Little Zoe, aged 14 months, from Vila-real, has now got enough money to undergo heart surgery in Boston, US. More here.
