News round-up 09.08.19
It’s been a hugely successful week for some of Yellows Academy players. Diego Collado, Álex Baena and Iván Morante, who were all part of our U19s (Juvenil A) squad last season, were crowned COTIF winners with Spain men’s U20s, after beating Russia 4–0 in the final. Baena scored and Morante captained the side. The women’s U19 final was a strange one for Aixa Salvador, who lined up for Spain women’s U19s against Villarreal Ladies First Team, with the national team coming out 1–0 winners. Read more here.
Pre-season action also continues for the men’s first team. They have their last game on Saturday (8:45pm Spanish time) before LaLiga starts against Bologna FC in San Marino.
