PHOTO OF THE DAY: Alberto Moreno returns to training

All focus here in Vila-real with the men’s first team is on Saturday’s game with Osasuna (kick-off 9pm Spanish time). Alberto Moreno returned to training today after a five-week injury lay-off, while Rubén Peña has been speaking to the press about the game and how he’s been settling in at the club. Read more here.

There is an international break after the match with Osasuna, and Karl Toko Ekambi, André-Frank Zambo Anguissa and Samu Chukwueze have all been called up to represent their countries during that period. Read about the matches they could be taking part in here.

Furthermore, tomorrow (Wednesday), the club will be recognised by the Cardenal Herrera University for its sporting and social work in the local community through the Endavant project. Read more here.

The club has also launched it’s ‘Groc Talent’ contest as part of the Endavant Cultura initiative. The competition is looking for ten local bands or artists to perform before LaLiga matches, with the fans voting for the best act, who will then perform at one of the biggest festivals in Spain, the SanSan Festival.
